Prep
The bridal suite is just up the stairs from the reception hall.
Also a popular spot for marriage license signing or a private moment for brand-newlyweds
A hut beyond the front entrance hosts the groomsmen,
preserving the first look for the perfect moment.
Ceremony
For May 2023 the arch, floral, & planning were provided by Wild Social Micro Weddings.
Familiar with North Star’s in-house / outdoor sound system, ceremony & cocktail hour are ready for outdoor surround sound without an additional DJ setup.
Note the speaker in the top corners of the photos below. 2 speakers face the altar while another 2 line the side terrace for cocktail hour.
Our Classic DJ Package includes at least 1 mic for the officiant, usually a clip-on lapel.
A second mic may be available for the groom (lapel) or for guest readings (handheld).
The ceremony shown below called for a lapel mic on each officiant (one on her dress, the other on his tie).
Cocktail Hour
Live Musicianship can be available for various portions of the day, inquire within.
North Star is equipped with 2 more speakers outlining the side deck for cocktail hour.

Reception
On the way inside guests can look for
their name-tag on a pair of sunglasses
or another creative seating chart
to find their seat.
Guests from sea level?
Jess & Anthony booked Colorado Oxygen Bar
At least one wireless handheld mic is available for toasts.
A second mic may be available for tandem toasts.
Mic stand optional, please confirm beforehand.

Cake Cutting
Some clients opt for an unnannounced, private cake cutting
shortly after the start of the dancefloor.
Lounge furniture provided by Wild Social Micro Weddings.
Send Off
If your photographer’s timeline concludes before the dancefloor, faux send off’s offer a chance for a photo op. Guests head back inside afterwards for a lighting change and soundtrack switch to keep party fresh.
