SPLIT SCREENS
If feeling ambitious, it is a useful skill to have! If not, leave it to the lead editor
Sometimes clips are weirdly framed or you cannot zoom in past 1.2ish times before it gets blurry.
Sometimes we can still use these clips by applying crops and/or zoom in or out’s so that it only takes up part of the screen.
This can be a great utility to mask poorly filmed moments and wind up making them look even better!
Split screens only work well in an edit when they can remain on screen long enough for the viewer to not be overwhelmed
